Westchester County Executive

And Madison, I want to start with the breaking news this morning out of Westchester, which of course matters to New York's 17th congressional district, the Lawler-Conley race, maybe the biggest toss-up race for Congress in the country.

Election ballot scanners were down, the machines were down at most polling places in Westchester, according to the Westchester County Executive.

Do you have the latest on that?

Yeah, I mean, it's quite a way to start the hottest race in the state and maybe even the country, right? So like you said, there's an issue countywide with the voting scanners, but officials are urging people to still come and vote.

Grainger, for the ones who get it done.

With us today is Andy Spano, served as Westchester County Executive almost 12 years.

And you told me you have a second book.

So tell us about the second book and what are you accomplishing?

During the primary, we had a comptroller debate with two candidates without incumbent Tom DiNapoli.

Last year, we held a town hall in the race for Westchester County Executive as Steve McLaughlin there declined.

Two years ago, Senate District 46 held a town hall with Pat Fahy.

Her opponent, Ted Dance, declined himself.
