Westall UFO

Now we move to one of Australia's most famous sightings.

This occurred in Melbourne, Australia at Westall High School on April sixth, nineteen sixty-six.

This was during the early noon or around eleven AM when two or three saucer-shaped objects showed up over the school and some of them actually began to land.

Uh, one, perhaps two of them landed in a grove of trees behind the school known as The Grange.

Uh, this caught the attention of the children on the playground, and before long, some two hundred to three hundred children at Westall High School and teachers and school officials all saw these objects as they were darting around.

Uh, sh- shortly later, little planes showed up and started circling the area.

When some of the kids saw that this object had actually landed on the ground, they jumped the fence and ran towards it, and a small handful of kids came upon this landed object.

Now, when most people think of Australian UFO mysteries, they think of the famous 1966 Westall High School or school sighting in Melbourne.

But six years, we've talked about that, six years before the Westall made headlines, something strange played out over the restricted airspace of WEWAC.

And it left government officials, Commonwealth police, and nuclear scientists scrambling for answers.
