And then you had the worst possible people ever running.

You know what's interesting? Kamala Harris, or as we say in West Tampa, que mala, que mala, que mala, just the worst.

She never was able to articulate anything.

She spoke that logoria.

So I am District 5, so that would be East Tampa.

I have a part of West Tampa, uh, Sulphur Springs, Tampa Heights, Ybor City, um-

Downtown

...

Absolutely incredible.

Here she is one time at Mar-a-Lago, and she is, to use the West Tampa term, empingado.

She's all upset because apparently they were talking while she was talking, and she did not care for that.

So people are still getting renewals.

But I sat down with this 70-year-old lady in West Tampa two weeks ago, and she opened her insurance renewal in front of me, a $655 increase.

Her husband had just passed.

People don't have that.

This is the wildest thing.

Tampa, as you know, is – well, we have a huge Cuban population.

By the way, second of all is Miami and maybe – and third might be Union City.

Union City and also great in Jersey, great Cuban food in any event.

So we had all these people.

There was some kind of an open – it was an open kind of relationship with Castro at the time.

Now, I had a friend of mine who was a very prominent lawyer where all the, and he told me this, all the Cubans, the ones who would come over, the refugees, the escapees, whoever, they would land in West Tampa and say, where the hell do I go? They would talk to somebody in the Cuban community and they'd say, go to this guy.

He's a lawyer, Cuban lawyer.

And back then, right, growing up as a little boy in West Tampa, did you stay in West Tampa-

Oh, yeah

... um, or d- or were you traveling a lot throughout the rest of the city?

No.

So West Tampa to me was very s- very small and, um, a- and, and, and p- people were fr- uh, g- granted, we had, we had some h- hard-nosed people, gr- a few.

But for the most part, people, people are more or less the same.

Everybody was a, was a, a working middle class.

And, uh, but it was more a, a Latin community, so to say.
