I, I've never been to the Iowa Great Lakes yet, and I still gotta get up there, like Lake Okoboji and-

Do you guys remember going to Lake Okoboji and camping? I

don't

remember if you guys went.

You know, we've got some very popular lakes here.

West Lake Okoboji is a very iconic lake here in the Midwest.

We have a lot of people coming from Omaha, Des Moines, Minneapolis, up to or down from.

into the lakes area.

So we've got one natural lake that is spring fed in West Lake Okoboji.

It's tied in with Spirit Lake.

It's actually tied in with East Lake Okoboji and then also Spirit Lake, hence the name.

I was at 60 Minutes at the time that all of this was happening, and I traveled, uh, to the Midwest, to Iowa and South Dakota and Minnesota and all these places every summer, and I was shocked by what I found.

Um, there was a, a woman whose husband had been the mayor of a town called Lake Okoboji, and they were selling their nine-bedroom house, so this massive double-story house, for like $9,000.

$9,000 for a giant double-story house.

That's all that it was worth because these towns and cities literally collapsed, and nobody said a word.

So higher temperatures in the north, lower temperatures in the south.

I don't know.

Yeah, you are.

But the f- the fun fact about that one is, do you remember what ended that truck's life? He was on the way to Lake Okoboji with it, driving in a storm.
