You know, you should try and work with a few people who are well-known, Don.

You know, you've only got Kate Sobrano, Wendy Matthews, Troy Cassadaly, Ann Kirkpatrick, Missy Higgins, Melinda Schneider, Sarah Blasco, Katie Noonan, Normie Rowe.

You should get amongst a few people who are a bit well-known.

It's a fair run-up, isn't it?

Cold Fever was another track I loved.

I loved Cold Fever with Wendy Matthews on the

BBs.

It was a good year for Aussie, a good time, this kind of mid-80s time for Aussie music.

So Live Overcome, because that was a song that was used in one of the packages that we ran on Triple M at the time.

And one from U2 is another song, which is a great song, Wendy Matthews, their Dual Hands.

There's all those go-to songs.

Anything from Moby.

Your voice is allowed to come through.

And I also loved the version of The Day You Went Away, Wendy Matthews' song, which I think is one of the great songs of all time.

I don't know if it gets its due, actually.

But, yeah, I'm interested in why you chose that song as well to cover.

She was one.

And they were just having this really beautiful mother-daughter moment.

And the song, Wendy Matthews' song, was playing on my dad's JBC playa.

And I captured that little memory frame in my mind and it went to my heart.

So instead of the self-produced indie rock of before, they worked with Daniel Denholm.

Denholm was at home working with indie bands like Frente! and Max Shram, but also big pop music like Wendy Matthews.

The album was announced to be released at the end of 1996, but finally saw the light of day in 1997.

It was called Love Walked In.

And I've got little runs.

I've got a run with Richard Clapton and Wendy Matthews in sort of August, September.

Melinda Schneider's doing a show which is like a Barbara Streisand show and that's she's got, you know, all the sort of Hamer Halls and Opera House and QPAC and like all the nice shows the groovy rooms you know so that's that's gonna be oh it's short but it's it's nice um and oh james morrison's got i'm doing a run with james we went to moscow in to russia in um in march as well with really yeah yeah Well, it sort of came up, I mean, I was like, because I'm not in his band anymore, so it's Patrick, you know, do you know Patrick Donat? Yeah, yeah.

Yeah, but Paddy had just had a baby and wanted to, didn't want to leave or for whatever reason.
