But if we truly want to be discipled and to be greater disciples in Christ, this is a way that we will grow because you're literally doing something that is at the heart of the gospel.

I think that one of the things that we focused on is we leaned into our faith.

And we also developed one of the greatest things.

We both have grown up in church, and so we've been in church our whole lives.

But the thing that was missing was compassion and empathy for people in our own communities.

One of the things that I realized pretty quick was that people would go on missions trips in the church all over the world, and they'd say, oh, I love the— I love the heart of Africa, and children are dying of AIDS in Africa.

There's terrible things, hunger, different things that they struggle with.

What was the meaning of that one yes?

And so I guess where I want to start is just tell everybody who might not be familiar with you a little bit about CBN, what you did there and what led to this book.

Wow, so yeah, I was a reporter for CBN, an anchor, a co-host, did pretty, you know, everything at CBN for 27 years.

And as we were talking about before the show, I left this year in February The Lord showed me in a dream 27.

He said, that's, that's it.
