Welsh–Ryan Arena

Thursday night at 7:00 in Chicago.

Ryan Welsh Arena got a nice makeover about six years ago.

Not quite as swanky as the Northwestern football stadium, but still awfully swanky.

And right now they're 0 and 6 in the conference.

It's a smaller arena.

We saw it work with Welsh Ryan Arena, the basketball arena where they shrink it, allows for less opposing fans because as we all know, there's probably more opposing fans, maybe not for Penn State, but more opposing fans for Big Ten schools in Chicago than there are for Northwestern fans.

So I'm expecting it to be a great atmosphere overall.

It's 100 years to the day of the last Ryan Field opening.

And, you know, like what flag football is doing and all these numbers, volleyballs numbers are skyrocketing.

So how do we package that all around this? Not only New Ryan Field, but Welsh Ryan Arena, too, which they sit next to each other.

Mark, you mentioned the square footage per fan, three and a half times what you had in the old stadium.

How does that comp to some of the other, you know, premium venues you talked about, SoFi?
