Patrick Rodes is one of the 2026 judges of the Washington International Horse Show, which included the WIHS Equitation Finals, one of the big four crown jewels of the equitation season.

Frequent Plague House contributor Michael Tuckerock is a top trainer, rider, and USCF large yard judge and the owner of Tuckerock Show Stables, a full-service hunter-jumper and equitation training and sales operation based full-time in Wellington, Florida.

Pekorek discovered his love of horses as a young rider in his native Canada before moving to the United States and taking a working student position at River's Edge.

He rose to the junior hunter, jumper, and equitation ranks, winning classes at Devon and earning ribbons at both the American and Canadian National Equitation Finals, while working alongside some of the sport's most respected professionals, including Scott Stewart, Missy Clark, Bob Roswell, and Anne Krasinski.

But it's a good thing we enjoy the sport.

And Michael, where are you off to coming up?

I'm back home in Wellington now.

And we're just going to start doing some more horse showing here, some of these pre-circuit shows.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that there aren't people who file completely frivolous and fraudulent claims, but there have been some things that the insurance companies have done on their side that have been very questionable as well.

Aaron, zoom out just for a minute here to the housing market, because in Wellington and West Palm Beach, how are insurance costs on top of interest rates changing who can actually afford to buy a home?

Well, and I happen to live in Wellington, Florida.

That's my hometown.

And what I'll tell you is that Interest rates are high.

And so I proposed to her on Christmas on the beach in West Palm.

Was she surprised? Oh, yeah.

I am so glad.

And, and we also, we managed to beforehand figure out kind of where we think we met each other way long ago when we were both much younger.

Um, but I definitely look forward to seeing you with your horses in Wellington this season.

Um, And in L.A. in 28.

Palm Beach County is undergoing an economic transformation through a multi-billion dollar investment by Stephen Ross.

From West Palm Beach to Wellington to Boca Raton, his company has been building residences, attracting companies to new office buildings, and reimagining retail and restaurant spaces.

Of course, Stephen Ross isn't doing all of this by himself.

Today, I'll speak with Jordan Rathlud, an Executive Vice President at Related Ross, who is leading the massive office development and leasing charge.

If you look at Palm Beach County as a whole, obviously West Palm Beach is the county seat.

We are one of the only, if not the only, urban centers in the county today.

But opening up into markets like Wellington and now Boca, we're able to expand our reach, the diversity of tenants that we like to attract.

And each tenant, they're looking for different attributes or different aspects of the community that are important to them.

I'm taking the deal.
