And that ended up winning the grand jury prize at Sundance.

And it was just kind of on from there.

And it was an amazing time to be alive.

I'm sure you were just the right amount of cool.

You mentioned Welcome to the Dollhouse already, but then in quick succession, you had Empire Records and Hurricane Streets, all of which kind of helped launch you and other actors in their careers.

But you were just a teenager.

And you mentioned John Waters, or you think of Errol Morris and Vernon, Florida, a really great film he did in the panhandle of Florida, or you think of Todd Solondz, another, a director who kind of looked at that landscape.

He did that film, Welcome to the Dollhouse.

But I'm really interested in worlds that aren't so obvious to all of us.

Kingpin, which is an underrated Forelli Brothers movie.

He had Fargo at one, Breaking the Waves at two, Secrets and Lies three, Lone Star at four.

By the way, Lone Star should have been nominated that year.
