Welcome to My Nightmare

It had the single The Sound of Winter on it, which was a big hit back then.

In 2011, Alice Cooper released Welcome to My Nightmare.

This was conceived alongside producer Bob Ezrin, and this musical concept album was the theatrical warped sequel to its 1975 masterpiece album of Welcome to My Nightmare, because this one was the sequel, so they had to do the number two for Welcome The Number Two My Nightmare.

There you go.

Peaked at number 22, as luck would have it, on the Billboard albums chart.

So

he's all over Welcome to My Nightmare in 1975.

Alice Cooper Goes to Hell in 1976.

And decades later, he came back for Welcome to My Nightmare in 2011.

So a lot of the guitar work people cried to Alice's touring band was actually Dick Wagner in the studio.

Wow.

I like the variedness of Alice's work up until that.

But I said to Rob, it was the one time where I said, because the Welcome to My Nightmare didn't work.

It was one of our worst episodes.

It was so bad we never aired it.

And it was pretty late into the pregnancy, too.

And she went out to the Welcome to My Nightmare tour.

So she was always like, that's technically your first concert.

Shit.

Yeah, it was 82.

Oh, the 80s, okay.

Welcome to my nightmare.

I remember... 82.

And when an artist has been around for near on 60 years and has 30 studio albums, I guess that is going to happen.

Only longtime Alice Cooper fans are going to know albums outside of Trash, Welcome to My Nightmare, Billion Dollar Babies and Hey Stupid.

because those are the only albums that really come up in conversation or have songs that are still played around the traps.

That is an unfortunately narrow view.

I love concept albums.

Like one of the greatest albums of all time, I think, is Welcome My Nightmare by Alice Cooper.

I really do think that's one of my, but my all-time favorite live album is ACDC, If You Want Blood, You've Got It.

I love that live album.

We count the two times it was in Hollywood.
