And as we hit a huge September of racing, I'm joined by Will McCoy and Belinda Granger, our two China dolls, fresh from calling all the action in Weihai.

I have to say, that was a lot of fun on the ground, possibly slightly less so at 2am in a basement in Madrid.

I was in Portugal on holidays and calling the race from the hotel reception.

No, yes, there was no joke, everyone up here.

And then there was Cassandra before she went to Weihai.

Yeah, it was packed before Weihai.

Wow, you've seen four of the six Olympians, the Paris Olympians up there.

That's mad.

Yeah.

Well, our short course racing happened in China in Weihai.

I don't want to remind people because I got told this by one of my athletes that all of a sudden now that I've got new podcast guests that my glory days have been brought back to being a discussion point, which I didn't know was the case at all because I tend to not want to talk about that at all.

But because Kate always brings it up and Guy brings it up.

But Weihai was where I won a long distance world champs at one point as an age group athlete.

So I'm very familiar with the venue.

So that's what I can add to the conversation.

So, well, as we move on to the World Triathlon Championship Series race in Weihai, China, which definitely did not disappoint.

Before we talk about the race, can we talk about just the coverage of using drones, the amount of cones on the course? Pat, can you kind of give us a rundown on that?

So Gwen, she called me when she got to Weihai, and she said, World Triathlon is losing their minds.

They landed in Weihai, and there are no cones on the mainland.

They were like, we don't know how to do a course with no cones.
