Who the hell wants to go apple picking? This is a big thing in the fall.

You know, if you go to Whole Foods, go to Wegmans.

Go to any supermarket.

You walk in, there's 17 kinds of apples right there in the front.

He said it'll cost $30 million for each grocery store.

They're building a Wegmans over on the Upper West Side.

That's costing $2 million to build it.

They built a beautiful Uncle Giuseppe's in Greenvale, Long Island.

Now, Wegmans is opening up down in Charlotte.

I've heard Wegmans.

I don't know what it is.

I'm Caroline, the executive director at Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia, and I will be your host today.

I am so excited to be joined by Kristin Smith from LMI, Chris Holland from Wegmans, and Colleen Cairns from Clark Construction.

Uh, similar, similar journey, although no running past my house to get my connection to Girls on the Run.

Uh, I am, uh, the community engagement manager, or the regional community engagement manager with Wegmans Food Markets, so working with our stores and communities in Maryland, DC, Virginia, and North Carolina, so the 30 stores that we have that's in that footprint.

Um, and my connection to GO TER NOVA started in, I believe it was the spring of 2015, was my first, uh, personal connection to it.

I go.

My local grocery store is the Wegmans.

And I go.

This has nothing to do with the Wegmans.

It's just prices in general.

And I am, look, I am okay, right? Yeah.

How am I gonna do this? So I got asked to go to VidCon as a featured creator, and I had no idea what that was.

Apparently it's like a big deal thing, as I came to learn, and I had a meet and greet line, which I thought was crazy [laughs] 'cause I was like, who would want to just meet me? I'm just, like, a regular person who's cruising the Wegmans most of the time.

Like, I live in rural Rochester, like, up in the suburbs.

I'm, like, regular degular person.
