Sheffield Wednesday is pleased to confirm the formation of its fan advisory board, forming part of a wider supporter engagement structure designed to strengthen dialogue, representation and collaboration between the club and Wednesdayites.

The FAB will hold its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, the 3rd of November.

Its formation is accompanied by three specialist subgroups covering fan experience, ticketing and equality, diversity, inclusion.

The invitation recognises James' personal contribution, experience and expertise with a role offered in an individual capacity separate from his position with the Supporters Trust.

Before formally accepting the invitation, James intends to consult the supporters' trust membership to seek their support.

Together, these developments represent an important step in strengthening supporter representation and ensuring Wednesdayites have meaningful opportunities to contribute to the club's future.

The board will comprise of six representatives from six supporters, organisations and collectives, Regional Supporters Collectives Group, Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust, the Sheffield Wednesday Women's Supporters Group, Wise Old Owls, Rainbow Owls and the Wednesday Voice.

I think, uh, the last few years have seen that at Huddersfield.

Unfortunately, uh, when it's come to like business end, like we were cruising the game, even you as a, as a diehard Wednesdayite could see that.

But we're not clinical enough.

I mean, we had a chance to make it three, didn't take it, but we should have seen the game out.

Well, she has to be.

That, that's a lovely way of putting it.

And that, for those that don't know, Chris McClure is Steve Bracknell, uh, obviously famous for the Royal Oak and, and things like that, doing very well for himself, which we're all delighted to see, but famously a Wednesdayite as well.

So, uh, we've done a lot of work with Sheffield United and, and for Western Park, so it's great to see the two sides of the city coming together essentially to, uh, for a brilliant cause.

And for that guy to turn up on, on the night and, and be a part of it, I thought summed up the night, and it was an outstanding night and, um, I'm proud of everything that everybody's done towards raising 2.2 million for, for our city and, and our region.
