Frank Barlow, as well as being father to Ken Barlow, who's still in Coronation Street, his other son was David Barlow, who was a professional footballer who played for Weatherfield County, and then in 1961 moved to a second division London-based team.

So it's very possible in the '60s that Frank Barlow's son was playing against Sunderland and coming up Roker Park with, "Take that, me lads." So there you go.

He's a self-confessed cricket badger, director of cricket at Castleford CC, and involved in a documentary about starting a women's and girls section called Colson's Cricket Club.
