WCBI-TV

Yeah.

Oh, that'd be awesome for WCBI, just coverage in general.

Way to have to come back.

Do you remember back in the day when it was State and Ole Miss in 2014, the magazine they dropped? I think they had to drop that again just for that week alone.

And Ty does a remarkable job.

Of course, he's the sports director at a station that was, that is only about an hour, hour and 10 minutes away from station I was the sports director, uh, at WCBI in Columbus.

Beautiful Columbus, Mississippi, just 25 minutes away from the campus of Mississippi State University.

I would have to think that that is one of the few TV markets, Columbus-Tupelo, Mississippi.

I have a special guest with me, a, uh, someone I know for a little minute now.

We have current WCBI sports reporter, we have Avery Cameron.

Avery, how we doing today?

I'm doing good.

Uh, sunny outside, you know what I'm saying? Always good to have the sun out.

But the reason I know Avery, me and Avery kind of go way back, kinda.

Uh, you know, our times at WCBI, uh, we've been working together for about a couple years now.

Uh, actually done some shows together, some segments-

Very possible.

All right, when we come back, Carla Barone-Jones of the show, my podcast co-host from Thunder and Lightning, of course from WCBI Sports, covers this team just as closely as I do.

Let's get his thoughts on this upcoming weekend, including a matchup that we're going to talk in great detail about when we come back from that, plus on tomorrow's Thunder and Lightning podcast, the Kelly-Jones matchup with Ryan Coleman-Williams, two potential All-Americans going at each other.

That might be what decides this game.

But if State gets out to a fast start and the crowd's into it and you look up and they've won by double digits, I'm not totally shocked by that either.

And, of course, a close win on either side wouldn't surprise me either.

Carla Barone, WCBI Sports, and, of course, five days a week on the Thunder and Lightning podcast.

Thank you, my friend.

Okay, there's no numbers.

These are concepts.

First of all, this is what I think I'm going to do my story on tonight for WCBI, but they got the monkey off their back is what I wrote down.

They hadn't won an SEC home game that not named Arkansas in a really long time.

Although he is.

No, I'm not.

And one of the questions came from your WCBI cohort, Avery Cameron, today that I want to kind of focus on.

Basically, so she asked Jeff Levy about being ranked.
