Waterfront Hall

And yeah, I was in Belfast in the 90s.

I was doing some work at the Waterfront Hall.

And I found it such a strange place because it seemed so, it's a bit like you said at the start of the interview, it seems so familiar.

Yeah.

And in the course of that time, we've done lots of different things.

So we typically are known for big events in the Waterfront Hall of Belfast, which we take at least once a year.

We did a big Christmas event there.

We're doing this event called Worldwide at the Waterfront.

Um, and I remember Dolly, um, I spoke to Dolly, I suppose it's over 20 years ago, back in the early 2000s, um, as part of a, an interview when she, she performed in, in, in Belfast.

I think it was the Waterfront Hall at, at the time.

But, um, you know, she, she, she told me at that time that of all the songs that, um, she had written for other people and for herself, her most favorite song was "The Coat of Many Colors" because of her, her, her very humble background and upbringing over the years.

And, you know, she, she dabbled in everything.

Being a 90th, we're getting a bit broader reach in terms of our publicity.

We're gonna be having a night in the Waterfront Hall, which again will give us a bigger platform for speaking.

So I think...

So there is this big opportunity for us.

And I know this year has been more challenging with all the different venue changes.

and extra anniversary events, including the Waterfront Hall.

There's so much time, work and prayer has gone into everything.

And I think tonight, just in honour of all of the work that they've done, not just this past year, but for those on the committee, if we would just show our appreciation for all that they have done.

Mm-hmm

... which was held in the, the Waterfront Hall, which seats 300 people.

And, um, Loras again, he called it, "They're all Ireland".

These are big kind of céilí bands from mainly Ireland, but there was a few from Scotland.
