Washoe County School District

I actually am a retired school teacher.

I taught in our Washoe County School District for a little over 20 years.

Wow.

[laughs] That's awesome.

Last year, we saw Douglas County School District had a budget deficit that they had to deal with that included, you know, closing down a school.

Washoe County School District had a large deficit, too, but they were able to get theirs down through a variety of budget cuts.

But again, like if there's budget cuts, that's got to mean less resources for students.

To address those concerns, Republican incumbent Governor Joe Lombardo signed emergency regulations last month.
