You were going to fund this through OIC regulatory funds rather than out of the state general fund, which was obviously... pretty tapped out at that point.

The Senate passed the Senate version 37 to 11, but it died in the House Consumer Protection Committee.

As you know, we announced late yesterday a major victory in our press pass lawsuit against the state of Washington.

This stems back from the 2026 legislative session when myself, Ari Hoffman, and Jonathan Cho were all denied by specifically the State House of Representatives press passes.

First time in 20 years in journalism and news that I've been denied a press pass.

And so I'm We filed suit not only against the state of Washington and the House, which is controlled by Democrats, as well as the chief clerk of the House, but also against an entity called the Capitol Correspondents Association.

So the Capitol Correspondents Association is a group of mainstream journalists that for years has dictated who gets press passes and who doesn't.

So we, over the last few weeks, have entered the discovery phase of that lawsuit process.
