T.J. Oshie.

Can't say enough good things about the kid.

Um, he's a man now, but special person, special player.

I got to know T.J. really well over the course of his career.

I think so highly of him.

And what's really cool is in Warroad High School, they had, you know, the prince and the princess of the prom or whatever.

T.J. Oshie was the prince, and the princess was Gigi Marvin, two of them USA Olympians.

Temperatures down into the 40s for a lot of us.

I do think northern Minnesota, I'm talking far north, like Kitson County, Rosa County, War Road, Lake of the Woods, could fall down into the upper 30s tomorrow morning.

Probably too warm for frost.

Something low line, maybe a little sparkle on the rooftop.

Brother and sister team going in together.

Uh, Ryan Suter will be going along with them, as is, uh, TJ Oshie from Warroad.

Well, there's a-- I'll try to make this story short too, but, um, State Tournament 2004, I think it is.

Um, you know, um, it's a n- it's a first-round matchup between Orono and Warroad, and, um, it's a great hockey game just like so many State Tournament games are.

It's zero-zero after regulation.

And what I do is I sit in my office over at, at, you know, which is two minutes away from the building.

And, and if, if it's, if it's tied late, I just bag whatever meeting I have going, and I just run over to the arena 'cause I just wanna watch the end, the drama at the end, and the expression of emotion on both sides of the equation at the end of a h- of a, you know, close State Tourney game.

This is the Boys State Tourney.

Boy, uh, Roseau and Warroad-- or sorry, Warroad and Orono.

It goes into overtime.

You know what I mean? It's Wisconsin and Minnesota.

So you got Oshie, who's from Warroad.

You got Suter, who's from Madison.

You got the Kessels, who are from right around Madison there, Wisconsin.

Yeah, you had another one.

Eliza White, who is originally from Huntsville, Alabama, was on the roster last year.

So there's this odd middle ground where, like, Vicente Green is another player who played Bantams last year.

This league gets him in front of so many more people that can make the trip to Bloomington who can't make the trip to Bagley or Warroad to watch him play as a Bantam.

So this is going to be a great opportunity for these kids to get in front of some eyeballs.
