The article says this, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, CBC, sent a memo to its reporters and editors this week instructing them not to refer to September 11th, 2021 attack on America as a terrorist attack.

The memo first reported by an astonished Warren Kinsella at the Toronto Sun, listen to this, used boldface type words.

To emphasize the directive to CBC employees, do not refer to September 11th attacks as terrorist attacks, the memo said bluntly.

The hijackings led to passenger jet crashes in Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania and Manhattan, the World Trade Center was destroyed.

Moving ahead, this is hilarious, so we've got Banana King posting this.

So this is calling out Warren Kinsella for being a journalist, 'cause Warren Kinsella screenshotted this, which was a fake tweet of Donald Trump talking about no more free Niagara Falls water, saying they're gonna turn down the water.

This is not a real post, but of course, Warren Kinsella took the bait, posted this, "Inmates taking over the insane asylum doesn't quite cover it." That's the problem, that you don't check it, you don't fact check it, you get caught with your pants down like Warren just did.

Checking today for Donald Trump, he hasn't tweeted hardly anything really, aside from a couple of ni- 9/11 things.

Companies getting hit left, right and center across Canada.

Yes.

So it's been a couple weeks since this disastrous excerpt of a memo got leaked to another problem maker, Warren Kinsella, published in the Toronto Sun.

This was internal guidance that told the CBC not to refer to 9/11 as a terrorist attack, but instead to say that they were, quote, "hijackings that led to passenger jet crashes." It was an excerpt from a memo.

To be fair, we don't know the full thing.

And there's no other way to say it.

We got Warren Kinsella posting this.

He's mentally ill. He's a sick, pathetic old man.

But that's not the problem.

Taxes and fees apply.

It would seem Warren Kinsella did not.

But it was it was one hell of a storm and certainly the worst of the summer.

Morgan, I have a story I'd like to duly note, and it's received a fair bit of attention, but I just wanna make sure that listeners have some context around the CBC fiasco, in my opinion, this boondoggle where a memo was leaked to Warren Kinsella.

For those of you who don't know, Kinsella's this lawyer, rabble-rouser, [laughs] likes to stir the pot about everything.

And in a column that he wrote in the Toronto Sun, he detailed what was in this leaked memo or this memo that was somehow emailed to him, and it was basically from someone in management at the CBC telling CBC journalists to remember that as we get closer to September 11th and there might be stories about the 9/11 attacks, to not refer to them as, quote, "terrorist attacks." And it sparked a lot of controversy.
