Nobody really knows because a window area can open like there's a place called Warminster in the 1960s in Britain.

I was talking to somebody the other day about whether we were training with these jammers on Salisbury Plain.

And I was told if we switched a jammer on in Salisbury Plain, everybody's mobile phones in Salisbury and Warminster and Andover and probably Basingstoke would all explode.

So the point being is it would appear that Ukraine has managed to suppress the Russian drones through electronic warfare.

Here on Alfred, we've been promoting a Wiltshire Police live video question and answer session following concerns about rural crime in the Wiltshire area next to Shaftesbury.

That's covered by the Mear and Tisbury policing team, which forms part of a wider area also taking in Westbury and Warminster.

The session did take place on Wednesday, but not at the time many locals had expected.

It had been widely promoted for 6 p.m. but the day before were suddenly moved to 1.30, prompting a raft of complaints.

I mean, there's a blue boy at Applehampton Hall here in the UK, and there's also a green lady.

And Longleat House, which is in Wiltshire on the Longleat Estate here in Warminster, they have a grey lady, and grey ladies are just everywhere in the UK.

You've got the brown lady as well.

The brown lady, of course, yeah.

It seems every month, dozens of Wiltshire residents living just over the Dorset County boundary are paying £8.50 every time they visit Shaftesbury's Household Recycling Centre at Wincolm, which is in the Dorset Council area, even though they pay council tax towards waste services in Wiltshire.

Eastern Oil Councillor Bridget Wayman's been campaigning for an agreement between Wiltshire and Dorset councils so people aren't forced to travel much further to Warminster or Salisbury and dispose of the refuse for free.

But Bridget says the figures she's now obtained raise a much bigger question.

Dorset, she says, has asked Waltz for £200,000.

But I'll see what the leader of our Wiltshire Council says to me next week and then see if I can, I will be making all of these arguments to them that to charge £200,000 is just ridiculous because there cannot be eight Wiltshire residents an hour going to show to the tip.

Councillor Wayman doesn't think Wiltshire Council is particularly keen to pay Dorset either, but she says leaving residents to pay the £8.50 themselves simply transfers the cost onto people who are already funding a waste service through their Wiltshire Council tax.

We've got Salisbury or Warminster to go to if we're prepared to waste all our time and energy and fuel travelling those longer distances to go to those two should be a spirit of cooperation and there certainly isn't

you might have people in Wiltshire saying do you know what if people in Wiltshire are prepared to pay again to have their waste taken in at Shaftesbury rather than drive a long distance then great we don't have to pay any more as rate payers in Wiltshire they're just funding this themselves let them do it
