Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team

That's why you haven't seen me in Battlefield.

But we have a guest tonight who came on to talk about Kill Team.

And we'll probably get into some video game stuff later because we always do.

But joining us tonight is Orion Wilfong.

It's my first time with you guys, so I'm very excited to see what we're getting into here.

yeah like we were talking in the pre-show how uh we are the most random kill team podcast and since we obviously we started out and then talked about video games for the first video yeah

well i mean what are we gonna do talk about kill team on the kill team podcast yeah

Yeah, I kind of do.

So he says, the Friday reveal show of something scaled for Kill Team.

Valrak, that's Chapter Master Valrak, another YouTuber.

He says he's got rumors about an Exodite Kill Team.

You think they could be on Friday?

I did hear about this as well.

I would love to see a stealth action game where you play as a Vindicare Assassin or one of the other really stealthy sniper types.

So this is all that's coming for the reveal.

Mm-hmm.

The GW's own competitor for Kill Team.

Right.

Is this the old sculpt or the, the new one?

No, it was, it was the, the newer sculpt.

The Kill Team.

Okay.

yeah and particularly for the models that have like core rules the black library stuff there's an expectation like they're gonna be legends models like you're buying these to put them on the shelf or like maybe sometimes you'll play it for like a casual like saturday afternoon game when everybody's just having fun doing whatever but like realistically you're just buying it for sitting on the shelf you know that but like these are like core parts of your like crow come on It's ridiculous.

So for box lock stuff, it kind of lets us segue into our next topic because another example of this is the kill team starter set from last edition

of kill team question mark.

I feel like it's been a while.

But they released a starter set like halfway through the edition that had a bunch of Space Marines versus Plague Marines.

it drops the ball

Yeah, but it's the same idea, except for it's for any collectible with some random IP on it that you want, where you are getting a random pull from a machine of thing you are a fan of for X amount of dollars.

And apparently they've done the this Warhammer Heroes a few times, but particularly for this story with Kill Team, it was these models.
