Instead, back then, you had the Air Force Wargamers talking to the Navy guys going, oh, gee, Navy does wargaming too? Back that far, the different services didn't know each other.

Most wargaming is educational or involved in operations planning.

But the services also have a requirement to figure out what should we be trying to invent, what should we be buying.

We have something in the U.S. that I keep trying to get the British UK to copy called Game Lab, where it's kind of somebody...

i won't mention his name came up with a title called speed dating for wargamers but it's basically participants are invited to come up with different areas in wargaming where they they felt they needed help and so you've got the best wargamers from the army the navy the marines all in one place at one time.
