WAR

He was...

Where did he start? He started off in WAR, Wrestling and Romance.

And so they were...

You look at that era and there was... couple of guys like that who were New Japan guys but actually the spice of the other companies that they brought in were what made that magic if you've got a storyteller like Kenny Omega bringing in that DDT kind of sense of drama match you up with like that weekly TV shock and awe wrestling of AJ Styles and you put all that together with a great storyteller like Tanahashi and a great stoic heel like Okada, you're going to make magic no matter what, right? You know, you've got Suzuki Goon, who are probably the best heel group ever in pro wrestling.

But again, it was an outlier.

You can't sustain it forever.

Did you say that Ishii came from a company that was called Romance and Wrestling? Wrestling and Romance.

It's a long story.

And, um, I'll tell him you said happy birthday and, um, Along with that is the transformation of the show along the way of we are people that grew up as kids watching WWE and WWF and remembering the stuff from the kids.

It's like the international wrestlers that ever came from whether it was CMLL or AAA or New Japan or War or what have you from around the world.

And we just remember them fondly because we had that era of two major pro wrestling titles.

Promotions in America, bringing in talent from around the world to see.

so.

I

think it was the Mickey Ward movie or whatever.

Remember when Christian Bale was playing like his brother that was like a trainer, right? Or some shit like that, right? And he would go on a crack smoking bender at departments.
