He was born and raised on Gadigal land and Wangal lands of the Sydney Basin, and Ben has worked nationally and internationally, collaborating with both indigenous communities and governments to create opportunities in education, health, and economic development.

He has extensive experience in system leadership and strategy.

Ben has been working since 2007, um, with First Nations people, um, in the not-for-profit sector, building programs, developing strategy, sourcing funding, collaborating with partners, and shaping, um, thought leadership with the university sector.
