Wamena

how did that work did he like drag the body off the battlefield and like roast it or did he just fucking go ham right there

apparently apparently yeah they bring it back and they they pig roasted, like a... and and then like the villagers like whenever like a piece gets kind of ready they'll just go up and like pick off the ready piece and like it's like a shawarma you know those shawarma skewers it's just like when you take the layers off like some get more cooked so like as like the outer layer is getting cooked like okay this piece is ready take it off and then this is what i gather from from our conversation with them and dude the the crazy thing is as much as this shit has been outlawed uh oh it's out it's outlawed there outlawed west papua and papua new guinea uh i mean to specify on the geography west papua is a state of indonesia the island of papua is divided into two west papua state of indonesia and to the uh east of that is papua new guinea right it's its own country but they share a lot of similarities as far as like tribal culture from what i heard like I mean, we had to fly into this village that you could only access by plane called Wamena, so it was very remote, but then people are way out there in like the highlands of West Papua.

They could be living, doing whatever they want.

They say the tribal warfare is outlawed, and we met people who said only two years ago they went to war with another tribe, and they'll go to war with another tribe literally just on the block of the town.
