At Walpeup, cropper John Mead received up to seventeen millimeters on his property at the start of the week.

Operating across twenty-eight hundred hectares either side of town, John says the rainfall was patchy, but the double-digit falls were far better than the few millimeters that were forecast.

Well, one place had seventeen and probably four K's, and that was fourteen and a half millimeters.
