Wallowa Mountains

So if you're looking at Oregon, far northeast spot up there.

Went up to Wallowa Lake State Park, which is up in the Wallowa Mountains.

This is high country.

And I tell you what, it was spectacular.

Woo-hoo.

In the Wallowa Mountains.

Oh, it's be...

It's beautiful now.

And you know what's so, what's so cool about that area in Joseph is that there's all this fresh water coming off the Wallowa Mountains, and so you got fresh water, you've got access to all the wheat and the alfalfa that's grown up there in Walla Walla, and plus there's lots of cattle being raised in that area, and it'll grow every kind of fruit tree you can imagine.

So it's jumping, you know.

It's east of...

It's way out east, up in the Wallowas.

Yeah.

East of 84.

Some little bars and restaurants.

And it's gorgeous.

I mean, the Wallowas are beautiful.

You know, it's just a good

It was just steep cliffs and it was so stunning.

It kind of reminded us a little bit the trail on the side of when we went to what was that? Was it Sacagawea Lake? What was it in the Wallowas? Ice Lake.

Oh, yeah.

Ice Lake.

Sacagawea Peak is behind it.

But when we were at Ice Lake and the Wallowas, I mean, it didn't really look like it at all, but the trail was very similar, kind of the rockiness of it and the narrowness of it.

And it was so stunning that we said, we're just going to sit on this narrow, rocky trail.

We haven't seen a lot of people all day and just have a little snack, really take it in.
