But Pandora's Box is kind of like her it.

Because our play is the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer screen hit, Salute to the Marines.

And our stars are the same ones you saw in the picture, Wallace Beery and Faye Bainter.

Some of you may remember Noah Beery Jr., his son, who was Buford Pusser's father in Walking Tall and was James Garner's father in The Rockford File.

Marie Dressler, you know, if you watch old movies from the '30s, she had a very unlikely run as a huge movie star during that decade.

Won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1930 for the film Min and Bill with Wallace Beery.

I say unlikely because by the time she hit, she was an older woman, and without being judgmental about anybody's body or appearance, she didn't conform to standard definitions of attractiveness.

Her best remembered scene, I think, is in Dinner at Eight from 1933, which is this all-star film in which she's matched with, yes, someone else we've talked about recently, Jean Harlow.

Yeah, let's see how he fits into this.
