Walden Bello

For the first time, we let the worker candidate run for president and the Greens candidate for vice president, an intellectual candidate.

We had Lodi de Guzman and Walden Bello for president and vice presidency.

And we've gained momentum in terms of the support of the youth.

I think that's what we've been fueling this campaign.

And on August 20th, The Guardian published an open letter, uh, open letter titled, "To Iran's Political Prisoners Trapped Between Two Blades of a Scissors." And this letter was signed by Western academics and cultural workers in the imperialist core, including many with iconic status.

And some of these, um, signatories include people like, um, um, Robin Kelly, um, Angela Davis, uh, Walden Bello.

If you guys can remem- remind me some of these names.

Um, [laughs] oh, the names are here.
