Wake Me Up

DJ-ing creates this sort of combined culture that really unites many fans.

A good example of this is Skrillex and ASAP Rocky's collaboration, Wild for the Night, or most recently, Avicii and Ella Bliss' Wake Me Up.

How many of you guys know that song? [audience member whistling] It's a great track.

Now, what exactly does a DJ do? Well, as you just saw earlier, um, they mix tracks.

You know, here's the thing that sucks is that I played that song 1,500 times.

So wake me up.

Wake me up, Avicii.

Boom.

There we go.

... are The, uh, The Decemberists in the trailer? I can't remember.

The song is a dramatic slow cover of Avicii's hit song Wake Me Up.

That's fucking hilarious.

And I couldn't...

Yeah

... a couple days ago, which we spoke about on After Hours at Movie Rocks.

Um, and I couldn't believe I'm watching this gorgeous, like, [laughs] stop ani- stop-motion animated puppet, like epic, and it [laughs] has that fucking, "Wake me up when it's all over."

It really does.

So what's your favorite Avicii track? Mine has to be Wake Me Up.

That one's classic.

I think I'd go with Levels.
