know, even though they gave it an implication that it was armor similar to the Wakandan armor, uh armor for black panther so i'm like okay we're gonna do this but then they barely did that and even in this one they kind of barely utilized that option with the armor there too which you know i wish they would have given him something different than what they did with oh hard you know hardened armor i'm like that that's the ability you give your new character really he

Yeah, and they also, in the first, the COVID one, they kind of did a disservice, I think what fueled some of the hatred for the character, not only because he was new and had kind of lame armor, but he actually like defeats another really popular character in the first one, Goro, who in the 95 movie is terrifying.

And

Exactly.

There's a line in one of the Avengers movies, and it's one of the Wakandan warriors, and she says, we deal with it by not dealing with it.

And I think that happens so much with songwriting, that there's something going on in your life, and you don't want to hit it head on, and you don't really want to deal with it right now.

But this is how you deal with it, by not dealing with it.

And now I'm doing these things where I have to stand in front of baby Melissa.

Lizzo has to stand in front of baby Melissa with one of them, ugh, them shield, them Wakanda shields.

Let's be very clear.

They never experienced COVID.

It's basically to, it's basically, if I'm just going, like I said, straight direct, it's to make a joke out of the, out of the organization of blacks I think that's a primary reason and to say that the main the main the main sort of goal of them which was to go back to their sweet motherland Africa it's kind of like make a joke of it and give it this Wakanda fairy tale like punchline to it, like they're having a little Wakanda Wonderland fantasy and it never happened.

You know what I mean? That type of thing.

But the thing is, overall, the Black Star line, it didn't start out of some Wakanda fairytale fanaticism.

Overall, I think it just started out of, really, if you look at it, a radical necessity for to escape certain dangers.

And it's funny how certain things never hit you, but it just details it perfectly because as it's summarized, like we went through, the Black Star Line, it was created out of really fear of the fact that we live in a country where they're taking out whole towns of us for fun on a regular, regular basis.

T'Challa addresses the UN about sharing Wakanda's resources.

We're now going to be, you know, kind of more open and we're going to now share our resources with the rest of the world.

But, yeah, I mean, that is true.

I do think that, you know, speaking from the American side, it just really grinds my gears that we didn't just choose somebody from Wakanda, America, to play Black Panther.

I just don't get it.

Like, that's the biggest thing.

I'm from Wakanda.
