I would like to introduce you to the next start-up team from Wageningen, Hydrapec.

Hi everybody.

So imagine here with me if you're eating dry crackers every single day of your life.

And that's where his system was born.

Hydropec is a system that can reliably and hygienically store, mix, and distribute wet feed in a poultry barn that is almost like today's weather, 25, 28 degrees with 50% moisture content.

I'm a person that really likes talking, and I think the Wageningen people can agree.

And then this happened.

Well, we are pulling from a really fascinating stack of sources for this deep dive.

First, we've got a deeply detailed long read from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.

Oh, excellent.

It does.

If the plant only changes the origin of the carbon, what is actually happening to the chemistry of the plastic itself? I mean, why doesn't it just act like a plant?

To answer that, we really have to lean on that research coming out of Wageningen University.

They did this incredible job of explaining the molecular reality of plastics without making it feel like a punishing chemistry lecture.

I myself lived in the Netherlands and we're part of Startlife, which is a sort of agritech business incubator based in the university where I studied.

in Wageningen, with that very difficult to pronounce name of Wageningen, but it's well known in the agricultural world.

And we have met with some Dutch farmers and we're looking to that market.

We're looking to other markets in Southern Europe as well.

Netherlands being quite opposite to the idyllic hilly areas, absolutely flat, although Wageningen tends to have the, I think it has the only hill and one of the only hills in the country.

What is it, like 30 meters or something like that? But very hard to cycle up.
