W Hotels

Yeah.

And, and look, I, I, I wanna preface this comment by saying I have great reverence for W Hotels.

And, you know, I was, I, I was there when they, you know, in the beginning.

Great reverence.

So it's very hard to be here with the Dallas Express.

We had a screening of Chris Burgard's film, Remember the Alamo, Don't You Realize Texas, with a panel afterwards with a number of people that was held at the Dallas Express room at the W Hotel just across from the stadium when that was before the convention opened.

with the speakers yesterday, and this is a very interesting film.

This is an issue that has really taken hold of voters and people across Texas, because not out of hatred or not out of prejudice, but really out of concern that In a state like Texas, which it is really defined by the spirit of the men who fought and died at the Alamo, which for those of you who may not be familiar with or have got that history, this was the men at the Alamo were surrounded by Santa Ana and his forces.

And it had some really incredible brands.

One of those brands was W Hotels.

And W Hotels was certainly tailored to my demographic.

The young, the fun, beverage culture focus, travel, party, fashion, music, design.

And for a young 20-something, you just fall in love with the industry even more.

So I worked for W Hotels for about three and a half, four years, anywhere from Barcelona to New York City, and just continued to fall in love with the operation over and over again.

Worked in housekeeping, worked in front desk, worked in food and beverage.

And about five years after working for W Hotels, I started with independent hotels.

But other than that, they also have Skyfall, which I believe is closed for renovations right now.

And that's at the W Hotel.

But it is also a very large property.

It's just so big, which is really important for when you have these big event events.

Really helpful for sleep.

So we had an event and it was all the way in Beverly Hills at the W Hotel.

Let me tell you, the traffic was insane.

Took me an hour and a half to get there from Santa Monica.

Let me start with Ritz Carlton and Ritz Carlton Reserve.

We have St. Regis, we have Bulgari, we've got JW, we've got the Luxury Collection, W Hotels and Addition.

That's amazing that you can remember them.

Why do you think of them in that order?

As our worlds collided, we spent a lot more time traveling together, which was fun.

Moments of eating sugarfish in the W Hotel in New York in bed, getting excited about that and just having conversations, which is amazing.

But you came to New York, I think it was over the holidays.

Yeah, it was Christmas time.
