Here's our founder and CEO of Vote Mama sharing her thoughts on mothers' productivity.

Everybody always like, oh, well, she's got little kids.

She doesn't have the time to do X, Y, and Z.

And my entire perspective shifted.

Liuba Grechen Shirley knows a little something about being a multitasking mom.

She ran for Congress while raising two toddlers, then went on to found Vote Mama to help remove the barriers that prevent other mothers from running for office.

She has a big month ahead of her as she works to help shift the balance of power and who gets to shape the future policies of our country.

Today, I am so excited to welcome Liuba Grechen Shirley.

She's the founder and CEO of Vote Mama, a mom of three, and coming to us from New York.

Will you tell us a little bit about Vote Mama?

Hi, it's so good to be here.

Thank you for having me.

Vote Mama was born out of my experience running for Congress with two small toddlers.

My older two were one and three when I ran.

have four weeks until the midterms.

We talked about that today with Liuba Grechen Shirley, the founder of Vote Mama, an organization that helps moms run for office.

And she has such an incredible personal story too.

She's getting to the root of the issue, recognizing that we can never make our country a place in which you can raise a family in a way that is affordable and can actually fulfill that American dream every politician always talks about, unless we have more people in office who are actually living the day-to-day reality of raising children, of raising families.
