Now shifting from the visible physical space to the invisible tech running it all, we hit the absolute core divide in today's EV market.

On one hand, you have the severe software risk of niche startup EV platforms where unproven tech often equals catastrophic operational downtime.

On the other hand, you have platform maturity.

the Volkswagen Group MEB Plus architecture underpinning the Piak.

It is not a beta test.

It's a highly stable, battle-tested ecosystem backed by a massive global supply chain.

Volkswagen plans IQ.Drive in the ID.Buzz. Volkswagen plans to add IQ for the 2027 MEB vehicles like the ID.Buzz, also receiving the Road Experience Management, or REM, and has the most advanced combination, they say, of these new technologies.

With Travel Assist active above forty-five miles an hour, enhanced Travel Assist can begin a driver-requested lane change.

The driver activates the turn signal, and the new rear radar scans the lanes.

And I think the other thing that I would be interested to see is, and this is another thing that we've touched on, but Volkswagen Group in Australia has had a lot of issues with their connected services and, you know, app-based connectivity.

Like, none of their, I think... um they tried to implement like a pretty poor third-party solution but they don't have any factory-backed you know smartphone connectivity so you can't unlike you know many chinese cars or other evs from other brands you can't you know control the climate settings from your phone or precondition the car or you know do any of that that cool stuff um They have been trying to implement that in Australia, but this car is also based on that MEB platform.

So I will be interested if when they sell this car in Australia, Audi will finally bring in connected services for this car.

Hopefully they do, and if not, they'll be very disappointing if they don't, because there are other Audis that do have connected services, but because this is an MEB-based platform, which is the same as the ID.4, ID.5, Cupra born, and none of those cars had connected services, it'll be interesting to see whether they bring that in with this A2.

So do you have any thoughts on that?

Yeah, I have a feeling that we won't necessarily see this car in Australia.
