Vitaly Pinchuk

Kerfoot will help the depth.

They took some chances on some of the younger guys, Vitali Pinchuk is someone that could be interesting.

I think that overall they, yeah, s- it's interesting that they've made some [laughs] I think not great decisions, and they're kinda stuck in this mushy middle.

They're stuck kinda being bad, and maybe over-performing as bad as they should be.

So this rookie camp will be super interesting to watch for him.

The other name that I'm really curious about is Vitaly Pinchuk.

I mentioned him a couple times in the pod.

In March, he randomly, out of nowhere, there was no conversation, no illusions to expect this.

I think we've been pounding the table for a Ross Colton acquisition for quite some time.

Bring in... uh jack jury i mean these are some really nice middle bottom six additions to this team um They also add Adam Edstrom from the Rangers, Niels Hoglanda from Vancouver, Alex Kerfoot, and Vitaly Pinchuk.

Oh, yeah.

He was a top KHL player last season.

I guess we can put it that way.

I should also mention they signed Vitaly Pinchuk, who is a 24-year-old, just had a point-per-game season in the KHL.

We'll see what he ultimately ends up being, but he could be some low-key value.

That actually could be a very good fantasy sleeper.

And then Joaquin Camo, another fairly high draft pick a couple years ago.

Don't know how those are all going to shake out.

And then, as you mentioned, Vitaly Pinchuk as well.

there's a lot of forwards for not enough spots, but yet no one truly feels like you have a couple true top line, top six guys, but then there's just a lot of guys that probably should be sliding on a third line that are going to have to play second line minutes.

Brad says, "I don't wanna rush Brady Martin." I think that's a fair, a fair thought there.

Uh, ex- Logan says he's excited to see Vitali Pinchuk with the prospects.

I know you've written a lot about him.

We're gonna talk about him momentarily.

So, I mean, he could be someone that would, you know, come in and not like wow me necessarily, but we know that he has the talent to play in the NHL.

He'll-- He will look comfortable as well.

Now, my third and final for two stars, Brayden, for me, is Vitali Pinchuk.

This is his first look at what he looks like on North American ice.

I know things haven't really worked out well here.

I mean, maybe there are some potential ideas of moving him maybe that first round pick from Colorado from New Jersey that is that was from Colorado originally maybe that's in a form of a trade for March so I don't know but obviously it hasn't panned out for him on that first line that potentially could happen but overall if we're turning the page looking at the younger players Matthew Wood is the next in line to really prove himself I think also to some of these new signings like Maverick Bork Alex Kerfoot Vitaly Pinchuk that's the biggest question mark on that last line potentially and and then Niels Hoaglander, and you could say Jack Drury in some cases as well.

So there are a lot of new guys on this roster, and you just hope that they can produce.

But as for Chris McFarland, he did a really good job of offloading a guy like Evangelista and trying to find the positive out of this and hoping the Preds can kind of turn the page and bring a Stanley Cup here pretty soon.
