I'm going to layer in this year the neuros from Dustin Solomon.

Dustin Solomon, the building shooter's gentleman, came out of the Naval Academy, and shortly after he graduated and hit the surface fleet, The USS Cole bombing happened in 2000 over in Yemen, and Dustin got tasked with training the sailors on board ship how to handle firearms for ship defense when they were in port.

It gave Dustin a very interesting exposure to things, but over time, he started looking at visual processing, not just responding to a shot timer, but how are people processing things and how can we track that and then make decisions and, as importantly, stop shooting on the back end, right? How much visual processing you're doing.

John Holshin described it as going to the gym for your eyes and brain, right? Getting you to open up and deepen what you were seeing and be able to process that visual stimulus better, sooner.

Of the second or concurrent causes of sight I have already spoken: and I will now speak of the higher purpose of God in giving us eyes.
