I got all these Linux machines.

Um, and so I just had it, uh, and I also installed, like, VNC on these, uh, these Linux machines.

I think he might have mistaken VLC as like a media player.

I think he's talking about VNC, which is kind of a remote access system.

I think just a small clarification, but I think that's it.

I was so that whole time, like partway through when he was like, anyway, I was leaving and I had access to my girlfriend's computer.

But the tooling is just a very small part of it.

Yes, we have RDP, SSH, VNC, SSH.

Tailscale, Cloudflare D, the list goes on and on.

And really, the tooling is the small part of that discussion.

And it is one of those remote access tools that allows you to set up persistent configurations You can save credentials if you want.

I don't because it's me, but it has that option.

But yeah, you can do SSH sessions, RDP, VNC, right? It's a centralized place for all that information.

But again, because the way my brain works, I look at that list of things I can do and like, okay, well, if somebody ever... you know compromises my workstation and this login then they have access to that whole list and that's why i don't save the credentials in that so um another key point there um other tooling that i use um PowerShell remoting, I use quite a bit.

So it installed itself, which it had its own remote access capabilities.

It also installed VNC, which is another remote access tool.

It's an open source remote access tool.

And then it had installed what we call a BYOVD driver, like a bring your own vulnerable driver.

There's no one to invalidate the certificate.

So it gets installed along with this Tyflux RMM.

And there was some scripting within the installer that once it installs itself and it installs VNC and it puts this driver on the machine, It then runs a script, and the script was to go out and pull down a copy of Splashtop, which is another RMM.

And it would pull that off of an IP address where the threat actor was hosting it, just parking it there as a dead drop.

So from my MacBook, I can say, hey, go into the OMARC machine, get it all configured, get the repo pulled down, get all the dependencies installed, start working on it.

And so because it's on this tail scale network, I can also VNC into it.

So I can actually go and look at the screen And so right here from this desk with my MacBook, no matter, actually, even if I'm at home, I can pull up the Linux machine, the desktop, look at it, play with it.

And there were maybe like 10 to 15 little things that when I started playing with Solo on the Linux machine was like,

In the grand vision where Solo can be headless and you can connect to from...

Not even through Tailscale or VNC or anything.

I could connect on this machine to a Solo instance running on another machine.

That is fine.

And I think we saw this, some municipality before someone had, you know, VNC with default creds or something like, okay, fine.

If you need remote monitoring, you have a read-only admin role.

Yeah.

It makes it super easy if I need to tunnel in to do something in the terminal.

These VNC apps have gotten so good.

The latency is basically imperceptible, and it'll make a virtual display that takes up exactly your iPad screen.

It's gotten incredibly good, and so I totally agree.

So you can click in and just enter in the password and hand it back.

Because my OpenClaw is built in this virtual machine, you have to VNC, you have to do this thing where it creates a link and then I log into the thing and then I go do a whatever.
