And sometimes I'm cool with it.

And sometimes it's just like a weird warping of reality because, like, for example— The 1989 Batman, when it came out, my friend Derek and I, we rode our bikes down to the Virginia Theater in downtown Champaign.

We stood in like a long line of fellow teenagers and got in and watched it.

And everybody, everybody I knew was buzzing about it.

It's the first Star Trek movie I saw in a theater.

Um, went with my parents.

We saw it at the Virginia theater in downtown Champaign and, um, It was cool.

I mean, it was, you know, it looked like a movie, right? And stuff.
