And that solo album featured Ace Frehley.

It featured Vinnie Vincent.

Paul Stanley was on it.

He had the whole band there.

Um, yeah, the, the way I look at it, and if you r- if you think of it, if, if you think of it from a perspective of Kiss' music, uh, Ace Frehley was sort of a, you know, a more of a blues-based player, and then they went to Vinnie Vincent, and Vinnie's more of a technical kinda shredder guy, and really didn't fit the, the '70s era of Kiss material at all.

But if you think about it, Richie Sambora falls more in line technically.

He's kind of th- th- the bridge between, uh, Ace Frehley and what Vinnie Vincent can do.

He's not as mu- he's not a shredder by any stretch, but he's definitely a better technical player than Ace, but he fits the Kiss music better than Vinnie Vincent would have.

So it would have definitely helped things.

Now, one of the things I talk about is the t- at the point that, uh, Sambora would have joined Kiss is right before they recorded Lick It Up, and of course, that's when they took the makeup off.

So my version of Kiss with Ricky, Richie Sambora, I don't tell the story of him wearing makeup at all.

And B- I think Bobby Rock from Vinnie Vincent and Nelson, and s- he was not in Slaughter.

Obviously the leads are very, um, present, up front, technical sounding.

The closest analogy I can come to, I think, in the overall presentation would be me- would be, like, Vinnie Vincent Invasion in that, like, he wrote a lot of those songs to be pop songs, but then when produced it as a kind of metal album, he puts his shredding guitar on top.

It's, like, really out front, and obviously, you know, a more extreme vocal and sort of other stylistic choices that are closer to metal, and you come up with basically what the sound of that band is.
