Now, whether it's music, the arts, HBCUs, the birthplace of Coca-Cola, and of course, Atlanta has its place within the history of the Civil Rights Movement.

Okay, Lamar Fletcher, I'm Lamar Fletcher, born and raised here in Atlanta, Georgia.

I grew up over in the west side of Atlanta, specifically known as Vine City in English Avenue communities.

I graduated from Frederick Douglass High School, so I'm a real Atlanta native, born and raised.

You know, when you say Atlanta, we're talking about Atlanta here, you know, and I was fortunate enough to be able to go forward amongst my studies and complete graduate school at University of Georgia, where I was able to continue a vast career and background in finance.

We talk about the issues around the health care did something in the city of Atlanta when I appointed a chief health officer to help us with health care and coordination with the county.

When we talk about affordable housing, I did something about affordable housing from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund when I was mayor to the displacement free zone, helping offset property taxes for people in Vine City and English Avenue.

when I was on city council to working to build supportive housing for teachers, for public safety members.

These issues that we're talking about the state, talking about around the state are things that I had an opportunity to address and I did something about.
