The Navigator's Vincent Ward was brought on for the next step, with the producers hoping he'd bring the tone of that series over to this.

Now, The Navigator is not to be confused with The Flight of the Navigator, and the former is a medieval odyssey set during the Black Death in which villagers dig a hole in the ground that takes them to the 20th century.

Though the director didn't end up being behind the lens for this project, I definitely think you can feel that sort of, sort of medieval tone that's mixed with the future stuff here.
