Villeray

When I used to be at the city-- Sorry.

When I was at the city, one of the main concern I had is why are these neighborhoods has so many empty buildings that were bought by the city, where the provincial government in especially Laurier-Dorion didn't, didn't do anything with them? We have, for, for example, the Chinese hospital in Villeray.

We have a, the, a big building in front of the Parc Metro, which has been sitting empty for more than five years, that were bought by the city.

The provincial government never did anything with them.

But right now what we see is that even here in Laurier-Dorion, the homelessness crisis has been getting more, more, uh, more present, uh, especially for the past eight years.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of resources in the neighborhood.

Um, I think in Villeray we have one, um, uh, one homelessness shelter f- so they can spend the night.

Only one for a big neighborhood like this.
