I've seen it.

When they stopped in 2017 or 16, I forget what it was, when all of the immigrants were coming into Europe, Viktor Orban stopped them at the train station.

and said no you can't go through because there used to be a law that they just repealed that law there used to be a law that when you come into the european union you had to register as a refugee in the first country you came in and that was greece where they all came into and greece said i just passed through and they went up through serbia and came to hungary and hungary said no you're not getting through they stopped them i went to the train station and there's about 3 000 refugees there and i was walking around with my little camera wanting to interview refugees from syria because that's just what they said they were coming from Couldn't find anybody.

Finally, I saw CNN and BBC there talking to these three kids.

They, they are not to other Democratic leaders.

This is Orbán on his war with the media.

[dramatic music] They're facing intense pressure at home and around Europe over a controversial new media law that critics say stifles freedom of speech.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's government says they're simply trying to safeguard balanced reporting.

Orbán says 2011 is Hungary's year of renewal and the country must adapt to survive.

But some say his reformist zeal may be tempting him to water down democracy.

He's a conservative and a traditionalist, and that's a message that goes down very well here with voters.

Um, Babic said, said as much, the, the leader of, uh, of Czech Republic.

Orban is, is saying this as well.

Uh, Vucic talked about Europe, and, and he also said that Europe is in a, is in a terrible state.

Uh, th-they did this to themselves, but, but they're not going to, to course correct.

We are doing, many people are doing the equivalent.

Ah, Israel, it's a Nazi, basically, ignoring the extraordinary range of nuance and ignoring, I think, very useful conversations about Netanyahu, who displays many of the characteristics of populist populist politicians such as Erdogan, Trump, Putin, Orban, we're missing a lot of the interesting stuff by just slapping a generic label over it.

And this is part of what Russia and indeed republics and someone like to do, is if we can no longer have a nuanced and informed conversation, you can't come up with solutions.

You can't even begin to approach a solution to the problem.

And we've got to support these parties and these right-wing movements in the EU, in Germany, the patriots who are rising, and the AFD party in Germany who are defeating the traditional globalist parties, Merz, and in other countries.

I mean, Orban, another great guy in Hungary.

Unfortunately, he couldn't stay on.

But it's happening in France.

Now it should be clear to all that Trump is doing everything he can to rig the next election and end American democracy as we know it.

During these critical months, weeks and days before the November elections, background briefing will intensify its investigations to expose MAGA chicanery, criminality and cruelty, while exploring strategies and popular movements to ensure a massive turnout to remove our corrupt autocrat, as the Hungarian people showed us by getting rid of Trump's buddy Orbán in a landslide.

And it turns out we were right.

So I started, you know, posting things on Facebook to all my liberal friends and posting what Viktor Orban had to say and suddenly I was getting banned and I was losing friends and And I actually went to court and sued Facebook because they had banned me and won.

They banned me for posting a Victor Orban quote.

And that's how I got involved in right-wing politics.

I mean, it's also, wait, as in not in Ireland? Was it meant to be a home game? Is that neutral venue Hungary? Because Israel has been playing all of their home games in Hungary, which is really part of that evil alliance between the far-right fascist genocidal government in Israel and the far-right fascist, not yet genocidal governments across Eastern Europe.

The kind of love of Netanyahu and Viktor Orban is so terrifying.

And the fact that it just plays out as like this is our home ground now is endlessly interesting to me.

Yeah, I mean, I'm always shocked by the kind of the the allies that, you know, right wing nut jobs throughout the world seem to find common cause in all sorts of unexpected ways.
