Britt FisherHOST

I fell in love with what I believe is pronounced banh show, but my Vietnamese pronunciation, I'm sure is not fantastic, but it was an incredible dish that was kind of a Vietnamese rice pancake of sorts wrapped in rice paper with fresh lettuce and bean sprouts and mint and thai basil and peanut sauce and dipped in the sweet and sour fish sauce and it was truly one of my favorite bites i had on the entire trip i ordered it four different times in addition to learning to cook it so i highly recommend that and then if you ever get to go don't miss out on of course classics like pho bo the beef pho noodle soup or the vietnamese egg rolls that you wrap in fresh lettuce and mint and banh mi which is already a favorite here in the u.s but is so delicious there and you can get so many different varieties We ordered banh mi one night for dinner and were able to get four large banh mi and two giant bao like steamed buns for $8 for our entire family.
