Vidura

That is suffering.

So that means people who are looking for happiness here in the material world, what are they looking for? So that's why Vidura had that question, that people work for happiness, why do they suffer? You go to east and you end up going to west, how is that? You walk to north, then you realize you actually walked to the south.

So he says this is the philosophy of Sukha and Dukha in the material world.

Very potent statement.

So in case of Pandavas, we know that Pandavas, when Duryodhana tried to burn them in the house of lack and they escaped from there because there was a tunnel which was made on the advice of Vidura.

So they escaped through the tunnel but after that they ran from there because they knew that if in any case Duryodhana comes to know that we are alive then he will send and get us killed because now everybody knows that they are burnt so he will get us killed so they ran and ran and ran and then to hide themselves they dressed themselves as brahmanas and they were bagging food that's how Bhima killed that Bakasura And when Arjuna along with Bhima had gone to that ceremony where Draupadi was selecting husband, they were actually dressed as Brahmanas.

That's why when Arjuna stood up there in the assembly to pick up all the Kshatriyas, they started laughing.

And then that kinda begins to be covered by the illusory energy again.

But what is it that can reawaken it? It's really the devotee of Krishna, right? A-and, and there's this famous, uh, s-statement by, um, Yudhishtra that after years when, when Vidura had le- There's-- It's a beautiful description.

Vidura, what a beautiful character, that he, he gets kicked out of the kingdom unfairly.

And he says, "It's okay.

I, I'll go on pilgrimage." He doesn't fight it, right? And, um-

... of the war and the after effects of the war.

They all, they all go through that.

And when Vidura comes back, the Bhagavatam, this is, like, first canto, chapter 13, I believe.
