How did, how did you come to Sheen, before I let you go?
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
So in 2009, a, a priest lent me the book Life of Christ, which I read with the intention of not liking it.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
Everyone else likes Sheen.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
I don't wanna like him, too.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
So years ago, so I became a big fan of Sheen in 2007.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
I was lent the book Life of Christ, his book Life of Christ from 1958.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
And I read it with the intention of not liking Fulton Sheen because everyone else liked him.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
I didn't want to like him too.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
So Sheen goes through the three temptations of the devil to our Lord, and he goes through them many times, many talks.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
He writes about it numerous times.
Dave TomaszyckiGUEST

Dave TomaszyckiGUEST
We had to pay money to have that chapter in there, but we got it.
Allan SmithGUEST
Again, I try to point people to His writings on the cross, you know, Victory Over Vice is an excellent book.
Allan SmithGUEST
His book, Life of Christ, is somewhat what I call such a classic that it is almost a must-read.
Allan SmithGUEST
If you want to know who Christ is, read Fulton Sheen's Life of Christ.
Allan SmithGUEST
It's a beautiful Lectio Divina.
Allan SmithGUEST
And, of course, his book, The World's First Love, which is Sheen's writings on the Blessed Virgin Mary.
