I wasn't running and I was like, oh my God, if I leave now because I've left it to this point, I'm going to be so late because I have to get the bus to Walthamstow and then get the Victoria Line.

And obviously the bus will be fucking rammed because the overground stamp.

So I was like, fuck it.

And I actually flew in yesterday.

So this morning I started my day being like a sardine at the Victoria Line.

She was a civil servant in central London.

And we jumped on the underground, the tube train, and we went up and down the Victoria line because she worked at Victoria.

Up and down the line, getting out at every single stop and looking at a stage agent's windows to see what we could afford.

And we could afford nothing until we got to Tottenham Hill.

When I got married in July 86 and my wife was a civil servant working in Victoria Street in central London.

So we went up and down the Victoria line on the Tube looking at where could we afford to buy.

And we went all the way south to Brixton and couldn't afford anything.

Now Beck then devoted the next 30 years to perfecting the diagram, continually making improvements and responding to structural and operational changes, while bombarding his unfortunate bosses with seemingly endless verbal and written complaints about any changes he disapproved of.

Eventually, they'd had enough of him, and unbeknownst to Beck, they commissioned a new map by a different designer in 1960 to include the soon-to-open Victoria Line.

Now, as you will have realised by now, it had been Beck's dream for many years.

Our stops are n- n- up-and-coming managers that are the new names, so Ruben Amorim, Erik ten Hag, oh, there's this, that.

The other stop is ex-players You know, people who know the club, people who understand the DNA of the club, they've been here before.

I've still not fessed up that I've met someone from my laminated list.

Um, but, um, he's like, "Uncle Tony, you know, sing the Zach Bond song." And by the time, by the time we got into, um, wherever it was that he got off to, to get the Victoria line, um, we had the whole carriage singing the Zach Bond song.
