And a very famous case of that, although there was plenty of rumors that it was going on beforehand, but, but a, a, a very big case that happened with designer drugs was the Balco Labs scandal.

So that was where, uh, Victor Conte, who's now passed, you know, got some chemist to, uh, make some, you know, alterations to an anabolic steroid to make a new anabolic steroid that won't be picked up by the testing equipment, and many athletes, they used that, including our own Dwayne Chambers, which, who I actually know.

I'm actually good friends with Dwayne.

Um, and, uh, yeah, the only reason they were caught was because a jealous, uh, coach called Trevor Graham sent in a sample of that drug to the anti-doping organizations to say that this group are taking this drug.

There was just a lot of things that kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

You know, Victor Conte, rest in peace, was involved with SNAC.

SNAC obviously was involved with, um, with Devin Haney, and then Victor Conte was very involved with VADA.

It was just, like, a lot of weird things that I just didn't really, couldn't really, you know, settle on.

And then his little brother says I'm gonna test positive before everybody else knows.

So it's just completely different treatments.

When I worked with the noted expert in strength and conditioning, Victor Conte, yes, him from Balco, I worked for him.

We used to have a lot of discussions as he worked with a lot of professional boxers at the end of his run.

And a lot of boxers would travel overseas, whether it's to Europe or Asia.

Mikey Garcia was a lightweight who moved up to welterweight.

And in Mikey Garcia's camp was one Victor Conte, a former Balco mastermind, and he was there to help, you know, Mikey Garcia put on some weight so he could fight.

cares nobody knows who she is they kept running out like alex and felix like nbc was featuring alex and felix because they have not been able to kind of introduce this new era of like track stars right and i think that all who are less committed to excellence that all ended that all ended like in the balco thing right and you know obviously bonds was kind of involved in that stuff too um but anyway and this isn't just right what was kind of weird about that that time though was that like um Victor Conte could not operate like in any other sport.

Um, Victor Conte also invented SNAC, the SNAC program, which they said Bud Crawford used.

And then Br- Bud Crawford told everyone, "If you wanted to test me, you, you can just text me, test me whenever you want to." He said, "I wear the clothes, I'll take the endorsements, but I don't take none of the juices that they use.

I don't take none of that stuff," so.

This is where the story gets really wild.

So enter this man, Victor Conte, who is a nutritionist who works with both CJ and Marion, and he is seated next to them at this press conference, and is basically like, "This dirty test is from an iron supplement.

I don't know what else to tell you." So he's trying to defend why CJ Hunter tested dirty, and he's saying, like, if you test this iron supplement, you will find trace amounts of whatever this shit is in the iron supplement.

Well, it reminds me of in high school when kids failed drug tests and they were like, "I ate a poppy seed bagel."

Oh, yeah, me too.

I ate one of those, too.

So Victor Conte, he's going to become a major, major player in this story.

But for now you have to know that he had made these claims that for his whole life he had a feeling that he was going to be the greatest, that he felt destined-
